Gibson CSM Series Chopped Strand Mat is a general purpose, high performance reinforcement used in the manufacturing of boats, chemical storage tanks, corrosion resistant equipment, swimming pools, ect.. It is a full strand mat made from fibers cut into 2 inch lengths and laid in random patterns. Its unique sizing system is formulated to achieve excellent results with various thermoset resin systems.
Compatibility - Compatible with majority of thermoset resin systems
Reduced Labor - Fast wet-out/wet through and ease of air removal, plus ease of dry handling
Corrosion Resist - Offers excellent weatherablity, durability and corrosion resistance
Laminate Clarity - With suitable resin, very clear laminate can be produced
High Quality Parts - From inherited mechanical properties and consistent and uniformed distribution
