Roving for Sheet Molding Compounds (SMC)

SMC rovings are specially designed as reinforcements for thermoset resins used in sheet molding compounds to produce automobile and truck componants such as fenders, doors, shells, seats, and water storage tanks and sporting goods, etc..

The SMC rovings, treated with silane-based size, are made to achieve good compatibility with polyester, vinyl-ester and epoxy resins.
